SUMMER PICNIC

The AZ alumni picnic will be held on Saturday, August 1, at Jim '60 and Lois Carter's cottage on Seneca Lake near Burdett (northeast of Watkins Glen). Directions are below. The meal will be a chicken BBQ with all the "fixings."

cost:
$10 /person, $5 for students, and free for children 5 and under.

Entering CALS freshmen and transfers from Seneca and the surrounding counties will be invited. Let’s gather between noon and 12:30 p.m., with the meal served around 1:00 p.m.

directions:
From Ithaca area, take Rt. 79 west to Burdett. At the blinking red light in Burdett, go straight on Lake St.; continue on Carpenter Rd (one mile total); turn right at State Route 414; turn left at Chase Rd. At the Y, keep left. Jim and Lois are at 3979 Chase Rd. From other directions, come north or south on Rt. 414 to Chase Rd. (south of Hector or north of Watkins Glen). Watch for signs and parking assistants. Parking and “shuttle” service will be provided.
