Alpha Zeta Presents: Ag Day!

Ag Day is a semiannual event organized by students that brings together local producers, educators, students, and agricultural enthusiasts to celebrate and educate. These individuals and organizations provide hands-on educational activities in areas like soil testing and plant identification, as well as fun activities -- including a hay bale toss contest, cow chip bingo, and pumpkin carving. Many participants also bring their work with them -- house plants and vegetables to bring home; cows, goats, and sheep to play with and learn about; and many new friends and contacts to be made!

Previous participants have included local dairies, orchards, vegetable farms, fiber farms, The Cornell Plantations, Cornell Crop and Soil Science and other departments, and the Master Composter program. If you or your organization are interested in participating, email cmv45@cornell.edu with a description of the activity or demonstration you would provide -- we would love to have you!

Bring $5 cash for our homemade lunch! A vegetarian option is available.
